RISK: Deloousional Edition

A popular sort of game on some imageboards I've used in the past was playing the famed wargame RISK on a map. The way that this works is essentially the OP runs the game, editing the image to coincide with the results of each turn from the players based on their rolls and actions. The game goes until one nation/alliance has the rest of the map into a clear losing position (or until the players get tired of it), at which point a "victory map" is made showing the results of the game.

The rules can be found on the sheet below, make sure to read over them thoroughly.

Now, we're on a forum. So I think some changes may have to be made for the format; for example, generally in traditional IB Risk you have the turns advance every 10-20 minutes and every player is expected to rule in that timeframe. It's more live-action basically. But our version will probably be more along the lines of a turn advancing per day to ensure everyone can get a roll in. This'll also mean people can put more effort into their posts, I.E. do a little bit of roleplaying. Maybe if there's a lot of enthusiasim for this our next game can follow the traditional live-action format.

This game is funner the more players you have, so I'll probably wait a little while to start it up, maybe a week or so from the date that this OP is made. The general rule of thumb is that 4 is the bare minimum for a game to be startable. To join, all I need is for you to pick a

Was thinking about it these days since I've been a bit busy but I probably have the time to engage on this. I don't even remember how to play Risk that well but it surely can't be that bad. And I'm an ex-map game larp expert as well so that helps.

4chan RISK was actually what got me into map games funnily enough. Started off playing this, then I got into Civ 5, then later into Paradox titles (worst mistake of my life!). It's a fun time, definitely not very complex or anything but you can have a good time with it especially depending on how you engage with other players. The Americas aren't available on this map though, you'll have to pick a starting location that's visible somewhere on the game map that I posted at the bottom of the OP.
