First poll has ended; Black Rock Shooter seems to have won it by a narrow 3-2 margin! Now starting the poll for what we will watch after; it'll run until Saturday.

Looks like we didn't get any nominations this time. The first poll for our next session has now been opened!

:Maho: Another one I'm not gonna be able to make it to. This should be the last one I miss, though, as I made it clear that I just can't do Sundays after this one. They must've took last time as "just not this one".

For this week I'm going to bring out the big guns and nominate Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal. It may very well be my favourite anime-related production ever made and I've love to share it with you all. :Positive:

Alright, lets throw in our hat here. I put forward "Angel's Egg". I've seen people say amazing things about it, I've never watched it, recently it came out in hd. I think it'd be neat.

Those secret messages
That spill into the air
From far away, so far away
A flowing river of illusion
Running with confusion
Never gone, it goes on and on.

I nominate Devilman: Tanjou-hen, they're really beautiful OVAs that I think would be a fun watch even if you haven't read Devilman. :Tea:

Good shout! I watched this OVA and the sequel (I assume those are the ones you want to watch) for the first time and had a good time with them. Though I actually ended up liking the "Amon" OVA most of all of them, it's really cool though perhaps hard to follow without the manga context. Still, has some great scenes in it.

Yeah, the OVAs are good enough to motivate me to read the manga. If you plan to go ahead with the manga club idea, it would be one of my nominations. I've been meaning to rewatch Amon, the first time I watched was before the manga so I did end up being pretty confused lol.

The OVAs inspired me to read it as well. Definitely a worthwhile use of your time!
