Devil Wears Prada Debate: Was Nate Evil?

It's probably just people over analyzing old movies, but everybody suddenly started saying that in the classic Devil Wears Prada movie, Nate is a bad abusive boyfriend.



Nate Wants to Battle. Was he friend or foe?
I would say the way it was written, her friends were just meant to be good people who marked what she may have been giving up with her new lifestyle.

I also didn't think the sequel deserved the hate it did.
Are the haters just crazy feminists, or do they have a point?
