Yuriev after self-exiling across the ocean back to North America, the land of his birth and childhood (though in the world of the time anomaly he's still a man out of time, this time by almost a century and in the other direction), and establishing the Confederate States of Neo America, conquering the continent and finally having his imperial ideal realized in what he comes to realize was always his true home, abdicating soon after, not out of desperation, but out of a job well done. Now all that was left was to watch his crops grow under the midwestern sun, and the seeds of a brave new world of his own vision to germinate and flower on a strange, new, yet familiar land.

I'm away from home at the moment, NonoEnjoyer's hit on Tel Aviv has me disenfranchised but I should be back in 3 days. I might see about starting a new one, but I think if we do one it's going to be a period specific map. I don't have access to all my risk maps atm, but what do you guys think of these? I think the solar system one could be cool, never played on it before. There's also one set in the 1700s that I couldn't find offhand I think.

Okay, I'm interested in finally getting another one of these things going. I am unsure of what map we should do though; while last game's "anything goes" RP was fun, I was thinking maybe a more grounded RP would be fun this time. Dunno though. Let me know what you think, of the maps in my folder I like these ones the most. Opened a poll for you guys to vote on what map we use, I think having a scenario-based RP would be fun though.

I will say that, this time around, I think I want at least 6 players (meaning I want to see 6+ votes in the poll in order to start). Playing most of last game with 4 was a bit of a bummer and resulted in stupid shit like Alix getting a monopoly over all of Europe's bonuses happening. The sweetspot is 8+ I'd say, but the more the merrier.
