Never fails, good thing you installed the patch at that moment. That's when the story starts to thickens, and when they start throwing the scientific wombo jumbo.

Heyhey!

Mission Report No. 002 on Chaos;Head Noah!

Chapter 2 was a lot shorter than I was expecting, very much surprised. This'll be a lot lighter, as this chapter seemed to be doing a lot more building and setting things up. So far, I'm liking the central mystery, there's some interesting pieces regarding Takumi's character here as well but like I said this seems to be set-up as far as I can see it.

Spoilers for Chapter 2 of Chaos;Head Noah.
Spoiler
The introduction of FES was neat, I think I caught a glimpse of her during a short sort of, I guess cutaway is how I would describe it? It's her just singing a tune on a footbridge, but anyway. She seems interesting, but I'll have to wait and see in Chapter 3, there was also someone else, in Chapter 1 (I think?) that I forgot to mention, the girl Takumi bumps into when he's going to go meet-up with Yua. She seems interesting.

As well it seems like whatever power these guys have is starting to make itself VERY known, what with FES swinging the thing during a concert, and Takumi catching a girl with a similar blade after looking out to the 107 following his attempt to break off from Nanami at the Phone Store.

Additionally, more exploration into NewGen, I wasn't expecting to see the perspective of the Police, I was thinking they'd mainly be in the background but to see who they're sending for this case this early on. I'm kind of interested, their characters might be fun but I'll see later.
Overall, no strong thoughts on this chapter so far. The new characters introduced here seem interesting, but once again, I'll have to wait and see in Chapter 3.

That's all for this Report.
See ya at the next worldline!
Heyhey!

Mission Report No. 003 on Chaos;Head Noah! o7!

Going to get straight into spoilers for this one, so beware below!
Spoiler
This has a lot for me to chew on, in regards to the nature of Takumi witnessing NewGen Murder No.3 and what is up with the now introduced Rimi Sakihata.

There's a moment about I think midway through the chapter that made something click with me. It was Nanami and Takumi going to school together against Takumi's will, and Nanami just suddenly blanks out in the middle of the street, almost adding another number to the world car k/d ratio.

This took me back to an earlier moment in the Chapter where Takumi talks about why talking on call gives him the creeps, specifically focusing on the process of how calling even works, mentioned something to the effect of "there's a chance that the electrical signal changes into something different" and "how can I be truly sure if the other person I'm talking to on the phone is the actual person".

And that's when an idea clicked for me, maybe some sort of broadcasting fuckery is abound? It's entirely possible some form of signal transmission is screwing with everyone's heads, or hell, even time. Thinking back to how they explained the Time Leap machine in the S;G anime.

Then there's the inconsistency with how visceral NewGen Murder No.3 (forgot what it was called but the Crucifixion) was, as it's far less bloody in the image shown by the police than what Takumi saw, as well, I should also mention Rimi's behavior at the time, she seemed to be in a similar state as to how Nanami was in the moment I mentioned earlier

Then there's Shogun's reveal, one thing of note was just, every person being gone, nobody there, completely devoid of anyone but Takumi and later Shogun. I thought back to the scene of the initial D-Mail being sent in the S;G anime and I wonder if changing worldlines had anything to do with that moment, but looking at other moments of interest that's probably not the case, and once again, looking too far ahead.

Anyways, I'm thinking... idk something is sending signals to people that makes them do crazy stuff? I heard of something like that being talked about in S;G but I'm not sure, if I'm right then I might've accidentally spoiled myself which xp (RIP) but that's the fault of my hubris.

Now then, something else, in regards to Takumi and Shogun, same guy but not same guy? The scene where Takumi seemingly starts sleep walking and then it shows that he's chatting as Shogun, only for Shogun to appear later on, it's interesting.

As I wasn't really buying that Shogun and Takumi could be the same guy, I still don't believe so entirely, but anyways, working idea is that Takumi is being influenced to be Shogun. Might be related to what I mentioned earlier about ppl getting influenced by signals and the like, maybe for something in the future?

Unsure, though.

Now, another thing I was expecting, more of Ban and Suwa, I like these guys they got good vibes to them. I've already said what I can about their plot points earlier in regards to the police so, for now, I hope to see more of these guys, I feel like they'll be fun. Now then, onto the other characters

Before that, something I should disclose given how major it is, especially going forward.

I've uhh... been playing the game unpatched, and on a pirated copy.

I apologize, though my personal economic circumstances aren't very favorable, make no mistake, I very much aim to buy the game, alongside the rest of SciADV and any other Visual Novel I play in the future, and when that time comes I'll make sure to replay the SciADV games in the way its best experienced while actually support everyone behind this awesome series, but unfortunately, I'll have to make do for now.
:Sob:

With that out of the way... Uhh, I'll continue, with regards to Rimi Sakahata.

Given the context of everything I was a bit apprehensive towards her but I think I like her as well, she's genuinely very caring of Takumi and the end of the chapter moment with her was very sweet. That said, the elephant in the room is her role in NewGen Murder No.3, so far, I think she did it but not of her own will or in sound mind. Referring back to what I was talking about with signals and stuff, but, that's all I have on her for now.

There is also the appearance of Sena, the girl Takumi bumped into last chapter, not much to say about her here but she's still cool, similar vibes to Ayase though a lot more heavy handed. Not much else to say though, I'll keep an eye on her and Ayase for this next chapter.

As well there is Kozue Orihara, I got a glimpse of her I think end of Chapter 1? She's a transfer student, one who seems to come from a similar background, or, at least, set of bad times as Takumi, so I'll be interested to see how they might bond over that, if at all.

One more thing, the Di-Swords of the few designs I've seen (FES, Sena, and Kozue) I think I like Kozue's the most, I don't know it looks like an ironing board someone tried to make into a... fuck if I know, but it looks cool.

Anyways, for now. That's all for this report.
See ya at the next worldline.
Tutu— sorry I'll save that for the Steins;Gate playthrough.

Anyways

Report on Chapter 4 of Chaos;Head Noah!

as well, Special thanks to @Blond for helping me immensely with getting the CoZ patch working on my end.

I just realized now I have more save slots holy shit I'm stupid, anyways.

Anyways, we got more Yua this Chapter, which I'm happy about. Though the moment of her saying Takumi has DID was both a bit sad and really fucking funny, but still I feel for her. She does seemingly genuinely want to help Takumi out, though this might be because she's probably the most concerned about NewGen among the known cast right now barring the police of course.

Speaking of which, Ban and Suwa, they're a fun duo, and in particular their discussion on GE piqued my interest, given the emphasis on it, it makes me wonder if more technologies are at play than just Visual Rebuilding in Shibuya, Gravity Manipulation maybe?

Sena getting a good talk in with Takumi after their brief encounters before. Though, aside from being cool and having aura, there's still not much for me to say about her as of now, for later chapters once again.

As for Ayase, I was surprised to see her pop up to give Takumi a hand, and her showcase and, as Takumi puts it "Info Dump" was alright. Her mention of the "Transcendental Plane" so to speak and the general idea that Di-Swords are, well, delusions, make me wonder if that's actually the case and if Di-Swords are technically always there just.. unreachable.

Anyways, the ending was a great moment, the way the writing creeps towards the inevitable fate of the five students being backed by a looping sound effect that blends laughter and crying in a way where they're almost indistinguishable. Then finally hitting you and Takumi as the five switch up, becoming seemingly husks in an instant, then locking hands, and falling, not before once again repeating those dreaded words.

"Whose eyes are those eyes?"

Overall though, I feel like this chapter was kind of off the mark, but with what its set-up and confirmed I hope the next chapter will be able to take advantage of that. With all that out of the way.
See ya at the next worldline!

Think of them as stands. Only potential gigalomaniacs can see them, and even more few can get their hands on a Di-Sword.

Heyhey!

Commencing Report No.05-1 on Chapter 5 of Chaos;Head Noah!

I'll be trying a different method for doing these reports, so far most of these have been immediately after I completed a chapter, for Chapter 5, I will be writing my thoughts as I go through the Chapter. So I'll be directly diving into spoilers, now then.
Spoiler
Following the end of Ch.4 the video of NewGen No.1, Group Dive, has hit the entire country, being shown on live TV. Whats worse is the police tracked the upload of the video to @cafe at the exact room that Takumi always goes to.

Thing is Takumi notes that it was definitely Shogun himself who recorded the video (he also says that it was probably also him who uploaded it) given the low height of the cam and metal screeching indicative of a wheelchair.

Now, Takumi thinks Shogun uploaded this to either revel in his work or bait Takumi, however, given the theories I've stated previously and the whole Gravitation Error conversation Ban and Suwa had last chapter, leads me to believe something else.

What I'm thinking is, what if this is more a documentation of a phenomenon? Recordings that shit is going down in Shibuya and someone needs to do something. I think this because of the sort of harbinger tone of Shogun's words to Takumi at the Scramble.
21.png
21.png (172.44 KiB) Viewed 730 times
A warning, a call to action. While I don't think Shogun is being entirely altruistic here he's definitely trying to get Takumi into doing something, even Takumi himself thinks so though what he wants him to do is where we separate on this point.

Another thing I want to touch on is Yua's connection to Shogun, uhh she's probably unrelated for the most part, unfortunate coincidences and all that. Coupled with Takumi basically fucking actively losing it (which, I don't blame him).

Also, Rimi, poor girl, poor fucking girl man. Like I don't know if she's actually known Takumi for that long but imagine being her like, your buddy who you've known since starting high school has been like, super-tweaking for the past I think week or so? You saw him stand completely still in the middle of the fucking Shibuya Crossing, and on top of that he avoids you like the plague and is just generally losing it.

On top of that he's a bum who lives in a Shipping Container, speaking of which, something that's been bothering me is how the fuck did they manage to get that onto the roof of the building? The washing machine and shit I get but who the hell did you contract that was willing to just place a whole shipping container on a roof, how did they even get that? It's a miracle I tell you.

Also
22.png

I find this interesting, given the game is based around delusion, subjectivity is built into the very bones of the story, Takumi being an unreliable narrator, the intentional inconsistencies like how bloody the crucifixion crime scene was, (though now I realize maybe it was cleaned up? Though, it being cleaned that well, is fucking SSSR work right there.) Takumi's paranoia. It's no surprise that he brings this up, especially when shadowy organizations are in play. (I got my eyes on you NOZOMI)
23.png

I think he's figured out how to get a Di-Sword, he just doesn't know it yet. This might be related to a different concept altogether though, I have heard the term Realbooting be thrown around, that's probably what this'll be related to later.

Positive Delusion time. Someone falls and drops a student handbook on the floor near Takumi, my guess is that its from the boxes, if its not, this is probably Kozue———

Takumi just spit his last few days of food out on the courtyard, poor bastard. Thankfully,

Rimi's here!

The following convo is really nice, once again it showcases that Rimi genuinely is looking out for Takumi, and I think that's what Takumi needs, especially with everything going on. Besides, Misumi hasn't been very reliable thusfar so, its for the better.

Something to note here is just how supportive Rimi is being to Takumi, she is genuinely looking out for him, checking around to help assure him that he's safe, its really cute, and I hope to see more moments like this in her route when the time comes.

Another thing that's caught my attention is the public reception to NewGen
26.png
26.png (516.31 KiB) Viewed 730 times
You can see it all across the game, what with "Whose eyes are those eyes" popping up basically everywhere, the general response to NewGen is polarizing to say the least. Most brush it off, as Takumi says himself last chapter, people are all over NewGen not just because its shocking but because they think it won't happen to them, its an interesting point, especially with how much merit it has, War, Serial Murder, Homicide, Sexual Crimes, there's a level of separation that exists between the common man and uncommon crime.

This kind of reinforces how paranoid and just how much disdain he has for most of the people around him, especially with how something very personal to him (Whose eyes are those eyes?) is being thrown around in relation and directly within horrible visceral murders, @chan, the media, everyone in Shibuya that isn't directly connected to the murders like possible families of the victims, and Takumi treats this as a spectacle, detached and devoid of the human. It's just another show, a collective hallucination to get everyone's minds off of today, and away from whats to come.

Nothing much else to say on this, its an interesting plot point that heavily mirrors how stuff like this is treated globally irl, it helps reinforce how real this all is, and how pressing it is for Takumi in particular.

Another thing to note, Takumi stutters a lot, very moe, anyways.

which, imo, is a really fucking cool detail and is one of the reasons I think I've come to love SciADV, the Steins;Gate anime genuinely got me to look at the OG John Titor IRC chat and the forum he was seen in.

Like last time, and probably for the rest of this, I'll be diving straight into spoilers, so be careful!
as well, Special thanks to @Blond for helping me immensely with getting the CoZ patch working on my end.

I just realized now I have more save slots holy shit I'm stupid, anyways.

This chapter was a treat to say the least.

21.png

24.png
Motherfucker.

Takumi just spit his last few days of food out on the courtyard, poor bastard. Thankfully,
25.png
Rimi's here!

The following convo is really nice, once again it showcases that Rimi genuinely is looking out for Takumi, and I think that's what Takumi needs, especially with everything going on. Besides, Misumi hasn't been very reliable thusfar so, its for the better.

Something to note here is just how supportive Rimi is being to Takumi, she is genuinely looking out for him, checking around to help assure him that he's safe, its really cute, and I hope to see more moments like this in her route when the time comes.

Another thing that's caught my attention is the public reception to NewGen
26.png

27.png
EXCUSE THE FUCK OUTTA ME

Also this is a real court case from '97,

which, imo, is a really fucking cool detail and is one of the reasons I think I've come to love SciADV, the Steins;Gate anime genuinely got me to look at the OG John Titor IRC chat and the forum he was seen in.

Btw, we're 10 years away from Titor jumping back to 2010! Hope to still see you all then, and make sure to keep up with the Divergence Meter my fellow Lab Members!

Oh thank merciful God in heaven she's okay.

Cutting to Miyashita Park, there's a whole host of people all stood still going "Whose eyes are those eyes"
Jesus fucking Christ.

Thankfully Sena is on the scene now, something to note that I find funny is how she almost always has a Popsicle, like she's almost always munching down on one, its kind of cool, sort of how you know you have characters that always have a cigarette or cigar? That's the case with Sena, despite how childish it is it paradoxically helps really sell her attitude and coolness so to speak.

That said,

Time to fuck shit up.

Interestingly they state that Sena's taking up an actual sword stance, makes me wonder if Sena has actually done stuff like sword-fighting, or she just, learned how to do that without any direct sword-fighting experience naturally. Or she's just, like that.

Wait, I just realized something, the guy she's aiming her sword towards, I think this guy has the thing, earlier Takumi found a patent for like a system a sort of mind-reading system as Takumi says,

Good work.
Also the guy carrying this thing pissed himself, lmao.
Though, God this thing looks hella heavy, its a miracle he was able to even lug this thing onto his back to begin with with how big it looks. Another thing to note is the logo, that is 100% NOZOMI's logo, coupled with something I left unmentioned a while back, a seen with seemingly a NOZOMI higher ups meeting, its very clear they're in on this.
Though, God this thing looks hella heavy, its a miracle he was able to even lug this thing onto his back to begin with
Sorry I'm a bit stupid, I thought the ruck was the device no the device was in the ruck but still.

Now then, cutting back to Takumi.

As much as I shit on the Base I won't lie all in all its honestly a pretty neat living space, all things considered, clear view of the sky, a lot of conveniences are pretty close, I think it'd be nice. It would fucking suck to be there if it rained though.

This is, heartwarming to see, as fucked as Takumi's life is, there has always been a part of him that wants to be better, glad I was told to give him a chance, love to see it. Thanks @NonoEnjoyer.

Also, there it is, the childhood story about the field trip. That's the main thing that gave me a hint about all this, I kind of brushed it off even though I knew it'd be important later, glad I didn't forget about that.

It's also, once again, very cute and heartwarming to see Rimi helping Takumi out, not much more to say, I just like seeing Rimi help out Takumi.

NO SHES CRYING
THE OTHERR GIRLS MAKIN FUN OF HER
STAY AWAY FROM MY 2ND FAVORITE CHUD YOU ASSHOELS

oh hey itz NOZOMI what do these guys have for us.
To be honest this is a really abrupt cutaway to NOZOMI I don't know what they were thinking this is really jarring, but anyways.

I actually tried the experiment he talked about in this moment but my monitor is a whole fucking tv so it was a bit awkward to do but yeah the ring does disappear.

Whoever this is mentions how deadspots will be how whatever Noah is, is able to create, I assume in this case, Delusions. My main question though is, that seems to only cover Sight, how will what Noah seeks to create account for Smell, Taste, and Touch?

Attachment Limit, that ends part 2 of this report.

@Yuuni Anno I think you will greatly enjoy looking back on your questions, comments, and theories once you clear the common route. Not much more I can say besides that. Glad you gave Takumi some time to prove himself.

Next chapter is gonna be fun. Has my favorite moment in the common route. It’s a gift of sorts.

Really love this new format you used, but I can see why it's so tiring. I find it funny how you get some predictions right by know. Can't wait till you get to that part of the game.

21.png

26.png

27.png
EXCUSE THE FUCK OUTTA ME
THE CIA!?

Also this is a real court case from '97,
28.png
which, imo, is a really fucking cool detail and is one of the reasons I think I've come to love SciADV, the Steins;Gate anime genuinely got me to look at the OG John Titor IRC chat and the forum he was seen in.

Btw, we're 10 years away from Titor jumping back to 2010! Hope to still see you all then, and make sure to keep up with the Divergence Meter my fellow Lab Members!

It seems Rimi too agrees, Takumi is moe.
29.png

210.png
Fuck.

I've run out of space for attachments, so, I think I'm going to split this report into two, so bear with me.
See ya next worldline!
Heyhey!
I'll skip right to it, this is Report No.05-2, part two of my report on Chaos;Head Noah Chapter 5!
Spoiler
FUCK. FUUUCK. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
211.png
DR. TAKASHINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Yeah no fuck the documentation theory he's ragebaiting. This one is too directly personal to not be a provocation. Oh god wait Rimi went out to get Cola oh god oh fuck oh god oh fuck
212.png
please don't do this to me.

213.png
Oh thank merciful God in heaven she's okay.

Cutting to Miyashita Park, there's a whole host of people all stood still going "Whose eyes are those eyes"
Jesus fucking Christ.

Thankfully Sena is on the scene now, something to note that I find funny is how she almost always has a Popsicle, like she's almost always munching down on one, its kind of cool, sort of how you know you have characters that always have a cigarette or cigar? That's the case with Sena, despite how childish it is it paradoxically helps really sell her attitude and coolness so to speak.

That said,
214.png
Time to fuck shit up.

Interestingly they state that Sena's taking up an actual sword stance, makes me wonder if Sena has actually done stuff like sword-fighting, or she just, learned how to do that without any direct sword-fighting experience naturally. Or she's just, like that.

Wait, I just realized something, the guy she's aiming her sword towards, I think this guy has the thing, earlier Takumi found a patent for like a system a sort of mind-reading system as Takumi says,

215.png
This thing, I'm thinking this guy has some portable form of it, or at least a portable transmitter or signal repeater whatever that led to that insanely creepy crowd earlier.

216.png
Good work.
Also the guy carrying this thing pissed himself, lmao.
Though, God this thing looks hella heavy, its a miracle he was able to even lug this thing onto his back to begin with with how big it looks. Heyhey!

Commencing report No.6 on Chapter 6!

I didn't expect to write this one so soon after chapter 5, though while this was a much shorter chapter than the previous, it was one hell of a ride from start to finish.
Spoiler
We kick off immediately following the sky going pale, Ban is in a critical meeting with the rest of the force but Suwa is nowhere to be found. This pisses of Ban, as he gives the kid a call. Initially I thought someone had gotten to Suwa but no it seems like he was fucking around god knows where as the signal is worse than shit on the other end, though.

Given what happens next, its safe to assume the shit signal was less because of Suwa taking a wierd route to his destination, and more of a very late sign of whats about to happen; as an earthquake strikes the police station, and this is a strong fucking earthquake, we see later that it completely topples Takumi's bed.

Regardless, the earthquake isn't the only strange occurrence, it looks like several officers die of splitting headaches in the Chaos(;Head NoAH). I think Ban was also affected but I could just be misreading.

Following this intro we cut back to Takumi, who previously was knocked out cold by the horrific headache that hit him from that call back in Chapter 5. He wakes up but his PC seems bricked, and after a bit of justified tweaking and forgetting how MMO save data works, he gets a message from who else? Shogun's back, and a lot more antagonistic this time. Takumi doesn't really focus on his messages right now the guy is pissing his pants and trying to find Rimi, as it seems like she's gone completely MIA.

In desperation, this leads Takumi to head out to Misumi in hopes of finding Rimi to reassure him, only to find... one of the scenes in this chapter that had me scared.

A crowd has gathered around, someone stands at the top of the roof, beyond the fences, a grim reminder of what can often happen, this far up. Her hair is a pale blue, arms outstretched, Di-sword in hand.

If you'll recall previously, FES had been doxxed on @chan, this. Coupled with the Earthquake that hit just hours ago, it seems like Ayase has lost hope. We get her perspective, the sky is red. As if hell has finally come to take the earth.

She stands there, reciting the prose seen on her page on the mental hospitals website. She laments the cruelty of people.
The world is laden with malicious delusions...
.
Everyone thrills of the misery of others.
.
Try as I might to close my eyes... to cover my ears... it is futile...
.
She asks one last question to greater will she clings to.
.
Are the Black Knights even real?
.
And then.
.
Take my soul away with you.
.
She jumps down.

Takumi can only watch, her fall made agonizingly slow, aimed straight for the concrete.
If only there was a flowerbed or something. If only there was something soft below her.

He averts his eyes, he shuts them off to the horror set to play out in front of him, but...

Unbeknownst to him, it seems like he managed to commit a dimensional slight of hand by accident as Ayase falls on a very out of place flowerbed.

This moment, was fucking great, I genuinely screamed out when she hit the ground, its such a strong moment both for Ayase and Takumi. I love it, unfortunately it gets ruined by the immediate cut to NOZOMI fucking around again, however, it is not entirely for naught, as the name of our great laboratory's dreaded arch-nemesis finally rears its despicable head! The Committee of 300!

NOZOMI is operating against the wishes of the 300 with whatever Noah is, and given what happened in Shibuya just hours ago, yeah, I wouldn't blame the Committee for going apeshit over this because this seems like a horrific breach in secrecy. Like, basically broadcasting "Hey the most evil shit ever is happening right fucking now guys look its so cool!" God, that cover up is going to cost trillions, they're lucky they took over the banks because they would go broke just planning a cover-up alone.

Anyway, we get Sena interrogating Takumi, I took the negative delusion for this one and yeah the aftermath isn't pretty. Thankfully, Sena doesn't seem to have it out for him, she probably has more pressing matters, like NOZOMI making more moves.

Honestly, much as I like Sena at base, she doesn't seem to be doing much outside of info dumping and aura farming. Not that I mind her being cool, I just wish she was doing more at this point of the story, but, who knows, maybe she'll finally be able to get some limelight next chapter.

Cut to AH Tokyo General Hospital, the place is crawling with patients, as expected, the casualties are over 100 apparently, which is terrifying. Whats worse is the hospital is understaffed, on top of losing a doctor as part of NewGen. Poor bastards.

Anyway, the Nurse from Takumi's checkup back in I think Chapter 2? Hazuki, yeah, she gets jumpscared by Suwa, turns out he's looking to get Takumi's medical record for the case, of course, this violates Patient Confidentiality, but like, shits going down, might as well.

Cut back to Takumi, still hoping Rimi might come in clutch, his phone even buzzes with a message but it turns out its just Nanami. Interestingly, the quake seems localized to Shibuya, on top of that, the event caused anything magnetic to go kaput, explains Suwa's bad connection at the start of the chapter. Anyway, no one seems to now shit about how the this all even happened, expected but, still sad to see.

We then cut back to AH Tokyo General Hospital, where we're reminded of the true scale of the damage. Interestingly enough, they're prioritizing patients who've been knocked out over the ones with more apparent physical trauma, its a bit a weird policy, I wonder if this order of things is actually accurate to this kind of disaster response in medical centers.

An ambulance comes in, carrying Ayase, the docs put her in a stretcher and bring her inside, as... Rimi... watches just outside the entrance to the hospital. Which is strange given how she's been AWOL since this kicked off, maybe a family member got caught up in the chaos and was hospitalized here? Honestly, I've got no clue.

Going back to Takumi, he's still lamenting Rimi's sudden absence when he checks his PC, seeing a mail from Nanami with the ever trendy "Whose eyes are those eyes?" as the title. The email is very much directly antagonistic towards Takumi, its kind of strange, the reading I got regarding Shogun up to this point was that he was a fairly aloof and kind of neutral but.. his recent behavior throughout these chapters has grown much more direct, much more hostile.

Anyways, bottom line is, he's got Nanami hostage, and he's seemingly mailed Nanami's severed forearm, bangle in and phone in hand.

But a quick word from our sponsors, NOZOMI.
This cut in is a lot less egregious than the previous NOZOMI cut in, these are still a bit jarring but this one has a very key detail, basically it seems to be an explanation on how Noah II is able to even do the trickery it does to begin with. As well, it seems like the Committee had a hand in trying to block/gatekeep NOZOMI's efforts into this research, as expected of their insipid machinations, I don't blame them though NOZOMI seems very irresponsible.

We also get an explanation as to who Porters are and how they function as a part of increasing Noah II's effective range, which I'll give them credit for.

Now then, we reach what is one of the coolest moments thusfar, Shogun, who's voice is.. a bit different this time around, which coupled with his switch up makes me wonder if Shogun even is Shogun at all here, but regardless, he has Takumi against the metaphorical wall, Nanami's life is in his hands.

The crowd below is cheering and hollering at him from down below, all of Shibuya is eyeing him down, all chanting those same accursed words, "Whose eyes are those eyes." Takumi is absolutely racked with anxiety not helped by Shogun pressuring him to try and grasp his Di-sword, while the imagined voice of Seira tries to make him bow out.

I think I took Neutral leading up to the moment that caught me off guard, the choices regarding the sword. I actually failed this and Takumi fell to his death the first time around cause I did the last answer wrong which was uhh... whoops. Next run through though, I managed to get it done, I went YES-YES-NO-NO-YES.

Taking a positive Delusion here, I actually thought I borked it as Seira managed to convince Takumi to just go back to the Base, but after loading back and checking the negative, it didn't lead to any game over so, we're all good.

Anyways, after bowing out, he gets a sudden delusion, one about her sister, kneeling, covered in blood, with some of it dripping from whats likely her severed hand creating a gruesome puddle. This delusion sends Takumi off the deep end and into rage, he charges at Shogun, and knocks the paraplegic bastard to the ground———except.

He's a lot lighter than expected? Takumi's on the ground, he tries to find man he knocked down, reaching out to touch a simple helmet, of I think a ripoff of Darth Vader, closing off the chapter there.

This one was a blast for how short it was, once again my favorite scene from this is Ayase's Descent but I feel like this one was a bit too short as they're just cramming in the fucking NOZOMI Slack group chat at weird times but all in all, I think its nice.

As I said before the door choice part caught me off guard, overall this chapter, for what it lacks in length, does a solid job of keeping you on your toes, especially with the final sequence, one hell of a closer. Can't wait to see more of this next chapter now that things have ramped up.
See ya next worldline!
