Multiplayer Looking For Group (General)

[NonoEnjoyer]

Made a thread where you can post about games you want to play with other forumgoers.

I’m looking for others to play a couple of games rn. Those are Helldivers 2 and risk of rain 2.

Risk of rain 2 is a third person rogue like (lite?) where you play as one of an assortment of characters, each with their own unique load outs and abilities. You play through a series of 5 stages. Each stage has item crates and various interactables to empower you (or not). Ultimate goal is to summon the stage boss and kill it and go the next stage. Every 5 stages you can choose to go to the final boss or loop back. There’s a lot more to it than this it’s a good basic overview. A lot of fun. 25 bucks standard fare but probably cheaper 3rd party. Not sure about system requirements.

Helldivers 2 is a third person shooter that has room for up to 4 players. You conduct operations on a variety of planets with 3 different enemy factions to choose from, each with their own sub factions. You are deployed from your super destroyer, bringing with you a load out of your choosing and 4 Stratagem call ins. These can be powerful weapons, mechs, airstrikes or orbital strikes or other things. Goal is to complete your objectives and extract in one piece. 40 bucks standard fare and definitely need a semi powerful machine to run.

If interested, I’m available after 11pm EDT Sunday-Thursday and most times on fridays and saturdays.if you wanna play hit me up here in the thread or on discord or whatever.

Feel free to make your own lfg post for whatever you want to play here as well.

I sadly don't have any of those games (and I'm not really in a financial position where I can spend money on games right now), but I am definitely interested in playing games with forum members! Some games I might be interested in playing:

Maplestory Classic World (Free): It just came out a couple weeks ago and I've been enjoying playing one of the major games of my childhood again. Nice to play on a populous official server instead of the private servers I had historically played on. I don't have any friends to play with these days so I haven't been able to play optimally, so I would love to have some people to grind or quest with! I'm a level 29 Magician aiming for Cleric right now, but I would be willing to start a new character of a different class to play with any of you as you level up!

Foxhole ($30): I love playing this game and I used to play with a large sized clan but I kind of get overwhelmed playing in large groups like that. I haven't gotten to play some of the recent updates and I would love to just play casually with some of you guys. I typically play Colonial and my favourite things to do in the game are building defences and attacking poorly defended bases in low-pop areas.

Crusader Kings III ($50): I've never been able to play this game with multiplayer, so I'm not sure if the multiplayer is even good, but I've always wanted to. It is probably my favourite grand strategy game, I'm not too sweaty about it though.

Hearts of Iron IV ($50): My second favourite grand strategy game. I used to play it a lot when I was a teen and I'm not entirely familiar with all of the newer mechanics, but I would love to play if we can form a group to do so at some point. I've played a lot of multiplayer in this before and it can be pretty fun and chaotic.

Stellaris ($50): I think this might also be a fun grand strategy game we could play as a group. It allows for a lot of different creative ways of playing the game so we could all target different things. I've only had the privilege of playing in multiplayer lobbies of 2 people before, so having a larger group would be super interesting for me!

100% Orange Juice ($7 $1.75): I recommended that the forum play this game together a long time ago if any of you recall. It is a cute rng-filled board game with hundreds of characters you can play as. I play this game with my wife from time to time, but would love to add a couple extra people to our games!
