I'm a terrible cook but I managed to make this somewhat decent dish.

Just beef mince with salt and pepper, then add a lot of sriracha hot sauce (90% of the flavor). Serve with pasta and green beans!

I just made a batch of chicken jerky

Takes more than 5 hours in the dehydrator but ultimately much cheaper than buying a bag of beef jerky (and incidentally no jerkies are sold in the equator)

I made an artichoke casserole earlier this week. It tasted really good, but I’d probably double the sauce next time. Source: grandmother, transcribed by mother.

Ingredients:
1 6 oz jar marinated artichoke hearts, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp butter, 1 cup sliced onions, 1 tsp dried basil, ½ cup sour cream, ½ cup cottage cheese, 3 shakes cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, angel hair pasta.

Recipe:
(1) Drain the marinade from the marinated artichokes into a skillet. Slice the drained hearts into bite sized pieces.
(2) Add the olive oil and butter to the drained off marinade in the skillet. Heat this mixture, add the onions, and sauté until soft (5-8 minutes). Add the artichoke hearts and basil. Sauté 3-5 more minutes.
(3) Remove from heat. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
(4) Cook and drain the pasta and toss immediately with the warm sauce. Put pasta in the bottom of the dish and add other ingredients. Put 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese on top.
(5) Put in the oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
