On-Site Streaming

I recently added the ability for you to stream to the server and also view streams on-site in a video player above the chat. The plan is for members to be able to stream if they so desire, the only criteria being that you're somewhat well-known or trustworthy to the forum. In order to stream, just PM me and I'll add you to the group and send you a stream key. Things to know about streaming -
-In order to set it up in OBS, go to settings -> stream. Click the dropdown and select custom, then enter "rtmp://live.deluoode.org:1935/live" as the server and paste the stream key I messaged you in.
-Each user will have their own stream key, and it's recommended to keep it private so that randoms can't hijack your stream.
-Although not strictly necessary, claiming the stream after you start and it shows up on the site and then setting a title is nice for historykeeping/the past streams tab
-Don't request to stream unless you're actually going to stream
Anyway that's all, have fun!

I love this option and hope to see various members start streaming. I probably won't join this anytime soon myself since I have my own Owncast instance and can't think of much I'd do here that I wouldn't do on the one I already have. But I hope others do!
Also, I tried adding
https://live.deluoode.org to
the extension I use to get notifications when Owncast instances go live. The title is "New Owncast Server" as opposed to Deluoode, but it seems like it should work? Though you don't need a browser extension like this if you spend your whole time online F5'ing on the Deluoode homepage like cool people do.
Do you think you will ever add support for VODs or is this meant to be somewhat ephemeral? VODs take up a lot of space so I have all mine save on Archive.org instead of my own server.

I could add support for VODs if people want it, how do you have yours go to Archive.org? That is a cool idea, but I am cool with it being ephemeral, especially since someone can just record it on their own PC if they really want to save a stream. I'll change the server name to make it stand out more in your extension also.

I have a script that a friend gave me who does the same thing (for transparency's sake: I believe it was partly vibe-coded) which runs on my server with a few systemd services. It's a bit messy but it does the job. I can PM you some of the details. But personally I'm not sure you would need to unless the streams got really long and involved.
