This will be the post where I share updates and changes made to the forum.

Today on August 23rd, I made a few small changes. The most notable is the increasing of Avatar size to 200x200 pixels. My reason for doing this is because because on the right column of topics, there is quite a bit of unused space which looked a bit ugly IMO.

Paying heed to this change, I also added an online status extension that appears beside your username and got rid of the stripe that covers the avatar. Furthermore I installed a Recent Topics extension onto the front page so that users can easily find which threads are the most active.

The Deluoode Link Exchange is also now open. If you'd like to have your site added, link back to us with one of the codes on the About page and then you can PM me the 88x31 button that you want to use, the URL of your link back and what page you want our link to point to.

Recently upgraded the image filesize limit to 2MB. This should mean that just about any reasonably sized should be able to be uploaded without having to bother using Ezgif or manually resizing it yourself. Please don't abuse this to upload 2MB gifs

Added some spam protection to lessen the effect of AI scraper bots. All my homies hate clankers.

Added an awards system which took a bit of manual finnicking. Users can now display up to six (preset) 88x31 buttons on their profile. You can find it in the user control panel under Profile --> Profile Flair.

Updated some extensions, added a few emotes/flairs, added a mention extension so now you can tag people in posts and replies @Maypews

Site radio has been added currently with 27 tracks from various parts of the series, also has an automatic shuffle feature. Made embeds in general a lot better; most big websites (including YouTube) will just automatically embed now if you paste a link. Made it so that you can share mp3 files through attachments. Added an [mp4] BBCode which allows for you to embed a video via direct link.

Added more emotes and other small things like that, made a small rule-change to dictate that threads marked as (General) on either "The Base" or "The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture" subforums are areas where spoiler tags aren't required (for the primary material), added a Collapse Quote extension so that you don't have to snip long quoted posts anymore, added a Divergence number webhook, removed ugly copyright stuff from the footer, added a random quote generator to the Index page and opened the Quotes thread for people to submit material to it.

Added lots of emotes including the whole C;C set, sized them up (this comes with the unfortunate side effect of breaking old usages though sorry!), fixed the stupid copyright link with a domain squatter on it by removing it.

Oh and one more thing, updated the CSS for both the Spoiler tags and User Control Panel/Private Messages in particular so that it looks a lot more readable now.

Really happy to go live with probably the biggest update I've yet made to this place since it's inception; a complete overhaul of the user profile page! Not only did I buy this extension with my hard earned cash (a whopping 5$ you fuckers, better be grateful), but afterwards I had to tinker with it a LOT to get it working how I wanted, probably for 5-10 hours easily.

New to the profile page is the ability to comment on user walls (with a like & reply function included), follow other users (I'd have preferred a proper friend request system but no such extension exists atm), set a custom banner, set a custom about me, as well as an ability to easily access a user's topic creation and post history separately. You can also hide your profile in the UCP Profile settings if you don't want people to be able to view such things. Under the drop down menu to the right of Topics & Posts area are the buttons to send an e-mail or private message.
