Who's Out To Get You?

The Organization thread is a bit tongue-in-cheek for what I've got in mind so I figured I'd make one for actual real weird shit you notice in your day-to-day life. Can go as schizo as you want, I'll start with something I noticed the other day:
There's this commercial currently doing the rounds on tv over here. I don't really watch tv but my dad does so it's on most of the time. It's for a car or something, and it's set to this tune that after hearing it a few times I realized that I didn't understand what I was supposed to be listening to. The best way I could describe it is some kind of hip hop beat mixed with half-intelligible drum circle chanting. Like if you took stomp-clap-hey folk music but instead of being for white college kids that hang out at the barcade you made it for upper-crust american black women with a gym membership and an installment plan on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee who meet with a support group at the local swimming pool every Wednesday. My point is that nobody listens to music like this. No one. You can argue I'm just out of the loop (I surely wouldn't be /in/ the loop if there was one) but I have never even heard of anything remotely like it. It's fake and made up is what I'm saying, it's a simulacrum of music designed to appeal to a very specific demographic. For the record, it did not sound AI generated but I don't really suppose I would know for sure. I'm paranoid about the implications of these types of things, am I just losing it or what? Help me out here.
