Another session down. We watched the finale of Needy Girl Overdose, Barefoot Gen (;_;), and Twilight Q. Next week we will start a new weekly 1 ep per session show, that being Urusei Yatsura. It was a fun session as usual, and I hope to see you all next week. We are also completely out of nominations, so please suggest stuff in the new thread!

The next installment of the OO will be taking place tomorrow as scheduled in the Gikopoi fireplace room at the usual time, 9 PM UTC. We will be watching Night on the Galactic Railroad and Majuu Senshi Luna Varga!

Thanks for coming to today's Otaku Oratory! It was a shorter session, we only watched the first episode of Urusei Yatsura and Night on the Galactic Railroad. We did watch some of that OVA, but stopped early.

I have decided to abolish the 1 nomination per person rule, so feel free to suggest many things in the other thread. As long as you don't fire off like 15 shows at once, that is.

I loaded this script onto my CyTube for my own anime watch party (which is NOT a competitor to this site but a friend, I do my best to never schedule them as overlapping). It adds scrolling NicoNicoDouga style comments.. Now, this is tooled for CyTube so I don't know if there's anything comparable for gikopoi. But assuming something like this could be made to work for gikopoi (which I leave to someone who is a better programmer than myself), do you think it would be a nice addition? Or overkill considering we already have the chat and the animated avatars?

There is a scrolling nico nico comments for streams that someone else coded but I have not had the chance to patch it yet / interest is fairly low . With the rate of activity during streams (>15 active people in room chatting now) I feel like it would not improve the stream experience to blast chatspam over it

Session complete! We watched Urusei Yatsura ep 2, Kara no Kyokai movie 1 and Redline! Fun times and lots of people showed up. We had some difficulties during the stream but nothing major, and the stuff we watched was pretty solid for the most part.
