Deluoode game night #1 is now live on YT. At the behest of the webmaster, I won't be leaving the link here due to some of the content in the video being of ill repute (you know who you are). I think it would be a good idea to keep gmod as a backup game regardless incase whatever actually wins ends up getting boring too fast or doesn’t work out.

I’d hate to burn everyone out on it too fast, but it does have a lot of modes to try and is very accessible.

That said, i nominate fistful of frags as my pick. Source cowboy fps game. It’s free and we can just hop in a server. It’s quite fun and you don’t need to be a gun and ball goyim to enjoy it. Ping however may be more of a concern in this title than in gmod considering it’s a pvp game. Linuxcels YMMV.

Alright everyone, it's getting to have been a little while since our last one so I figured I'd go ahead and make a poll. The only rule will be that stuff that's already been played in the previous session can't be voted for again, but once it's been more than one session since it will become eligible.

Since we had such a good time on GMod and since there are practically endless things you can do with it though, I think I'll make an exception and have it as a sort of backup game in-case the main thing we play doesn't go well (or in case we just want to do something else). I've wanted to get in to GMod for a long while anyways, and I'm sure there are others in that boat too. Nonetheless it still will not appear in this month's poll, and it may not appear in future polls since I could see that just being something that we play on a whim. After all, we don't have to wait for Game Night to use the Steam group. Speaking of which, the next Derby will take place on August 1st.

I have curated a list of various suggestions I've heard from people that sound like a fun time and put them in this poll, if you have any other ideas feel free to post them but do be warned that we can only go up to 10 games. I'll announce the poll winner a few days before we play most likely. The tenative time will be the same as the last one, 6 PM UTC.

Alright, looks like MKWii has won the poll. So as I mentioned in another thread long ago, the game nowadays is very easy to setup and play online. To play on PC, all you have to do is download the .iso and Dolphin emulator, download WheelWizard and then set the paths accordingly. Here's a quick video guide that shows how to do it.


Hope to see you guys there, and of course we will be playing at the same time as last time, 6 PM UTC. Garry's Mod will be kept as a backup game or potential extracurricular activity. Voice chat will be in the Steam GC, so if you haven't joined you should.

Alright, so we ran some test rooms today. Although this is not difficult at all to setup if you follow the video in the post above and you should not feel intimidated by it, it can take a little bit for the .iso file to download. So I would highly suggest "acquiring" it before the meetup time tomorrow (unless you want to end up waiting 10-20 minutes, I hear there's a place called Vimm's that has files like this.), getting your controller/keyboard scheme setup and spinning a few races for testing purposes.

In order to join my room, you will need to register my friend code 1724-0023-0736, then go to "Find Friends" and join my room from there. The room will go live at the agreed upon time, 6 PM UTC. PC Players: Do NOT add people from the WheelWizard interface, you are supposed to do it in the Mario Kart Wii game itself. That should be all there is to do, hope you guys join!

Hey guys, at our last game night the turnout was unfortunately quite poor, with only 2 other users from Deluoode attending besides myself. It seems maybe it was just a bad day or weekend, but for me I've really wanted to play MKWii with denizens from my forum for.. a LONG time, like really it was something I dreamed about since the day I created this place. It's probably my favourite video game of all-time, so I've long wanted to share it with you all since it's very fun with other people.

At the last Otaku Oratory, a couple of users suggested trying again this weekend. I've opened a poll to see if there's sincere interest in this. For now it's a rather straightforward question - would you be interested in playing Mario Kart Wii sometime this weekend? I'll probably want at least 6 yes votes in order to set it up because this game needs more people in order to be fun, and the pre-emptive frontrunner for a day is Friday since two users mentioned it would work better for them than Saturday.
