Seeing little option, Yuriev accepts the Barons terms, hoping to gain alliance with the Mongol Empire.

As the Russia bonus is currently out of reach, this therefore puts Germany once again at the forefront of the Hyperborean mind. He sends correspondence to Belgrave, drafting out what he terms as the "Rhine Agreement". The ceasefire will hold on the two nations' eastern borders, and establish the Carpathians and Alps (with the exception of Yugoslav Czechia which extends beyond the 2 mountain ranges) as the de jure boundaries of both empires in central and eastern Europe. He makes clear, however, that he can not tolerate Yugoslavia in Germany, and thus the agreement's primary focus is the divvying up of Western Europe, aiming to establish the bounds of the two nations in the region as roughly equating with the Rhine, with Hyperborea claiming Germany and the Netherlands, granting Belgium and France (should Yugoslavia succeed in its bid for it with East Memphis) to them uncontested.

Seeing as Yugoslavia has entered what the Empire considers rightful Hyperborean ground, the ceasefire in the west is considered breached, and Hyperborea will finish its conquest of Norway and then expend the rest of its energy into breaking into east Germany.

Another lazypost whike the Commitee thinks of a good RP, take back all that's missing of France and then retake East Germany. Use all of the spills to take Denmark and parts of Poland. We aren't ceasefiring shit after the Mongol debacle.

Turn 18. Not going to lie the war in Europe threw me for a bit of a loop on what I should do, so if anything seems fucked up please let me know. Since Yugoslavia seemed to focus the bulk of their roll on France (and therefore Egypt), I put their individual rolls up against each other which means Yugoslavia wins by 14, thus allowing them to recapture the remaining 13 in France and then 1 in Germany. But since Hyperborea defended, that minor incursion of Yugoslavia's into East Germany was repelled, and that left the remaining 23 territories of Hyperborea's roll unaccounted for.

Thus the large-scale invasion of Romania. Basically, @Parzival give more detailed instructions on what to do with your spills in future turns if possible. I have also assumed that Yugoslavia would want to defend against Egypt's incursions into Italy and Greece, which is accounted for by their rolls being equal outside of the Yugoslavian spills (which mostly go to France), but I am not entirely sure since @alix didn't mention it in the last reply. Moral of the story, be very descriptive with directions if you can please, it makes my life a lot easier.

"Good, good, and Moldova? Has Belov managed to take it?"

"Yes, sir, he's actually managed to take most of Romania in the process as well."

"He what?"

"Save for the westernmost regions, our forces have taken most of Romania."

"...Very well, I suppose that makes issuing the 1st ultimatum easier."

A Declaration!

The Hyperborean Empire has officially and publicly declared an ultimatum toward Yugoslavia. Retreat beyond the Northern Carpathian Mountains and the Empire will be willing to cede back Romania with no need for further conflict in return for Yugoslavia agreeing to remain out of Germany and ceding Czechia and Slovakia to be reunited with their Western and Eastern Slav kin in Hyperborea. Should these terms not be accepted, the Empire will have no choice but to hold Romania and reunite the Western Slavs by force. Should Yugoslavia continue its unjust aggression toward Hyperborea, the Empire sees no other options but to establish a buffer against such hostility in the rest of the gap nations between the Northern and Southern Slavs.

"Do you really think they'll accept that?"

"Of course not, if anything it's probably pissed Selimović off even more."

"Then why?"

"Well, on the off chance they do accept our terms, thank God, right? Otherwise, to outside eyes and ears, we're doing our best to reach peace with an aggressor that struck first. Given the circumstances, it's not exactly untrue, either. I did try my best to not to extend into Yugoslavia itself, as I do wish to bring any more terror upon the Slavic peoples, but the Yugoslavs brought this war to us, and since they don't seem intent on reversing course- we'll return the favor, and in the most diplomatically intentioned veneer we can."

"Very well, what are our next moves, then?"

"First, send word directly to the Baron. Inform him that the war is ramping up, and that we're not certain our mutual Byzantine ally can keep up against the Yugoslavs on their front with them. Without Russia fully in our grasp, we are spread too thin to deal with the Neo-Bolshevik threat adequately. I genuinely do not wish to dissolve our NAP and bring war back to Russia so soon after our defeat of the Bolsheviks, but if it's for the service of keeping Europe out of Neo-Bolshevik hands and denying them the grasping of immeasurable power, I will do so next turn if need be. That I am not doing so this turn I hope shows the trust and patience I have in the 2nd Mongol Empire. I have staff at the ready to quickly, reasonably, and fairly establish the contractual details of the cession of Russian lands to Hyperborea. I trust that the war with Outer Heaven is or shall soon be definitive enough to peacefully work this out."

In order of priority:
>defense against any Yugoslav attacks and incursions
>completing the conquest of Romania
>invading Slovakia
>pushing further into Germany

In order of priority, defend and retake Romania, then defend Slovakia, retake Moldavia, and then use our spills to move towards Egypt on the west and Germany on the east.
