With Poland now fully captured, Hyperborea will sue for a temporary ceasefire with Yugoslavia. Should the Yugoslavs reject this offer, Yuriev will focus Hyperborean firepower on defense against their attack, with any spills going toward what will be the primary effort in the event they accept this temporary ceasefire- that being: the crushing of the remaining Bolshevik forces in the east, with any spills going toward extending down into Norway.

@Maypews Yuriev will also send a correspondence to the Baron von Ungern-Sternberg, asking for the Russian lands the Mongol Empire holds so that Hyperborea may be fully equipped to continue the fight against the Yugoslavs. In exchange, Hyperborea will grant the Mongol Empire access to and technical knowledge of the advancements its made in military technology utilizing Yuriev's knowledge of the future and the technical skill of other temporally displaced persons, for benefit of the war effort against Outer Heaven. Yuriev also expresses a willingness to advance further into Yugoslavia proper once Russia is fully under Hyperborean control to aid any Mongol effort to plug up the Anatolian gap between Yugoslavia and Mongol Persia, seeing that the Yugoslavs may make a move to fully take Turkey so as to not be spread too thin in its war efforts against both East Memphis and Hyperborea.

Yugoslavia. - Turn 16 (+21)

BREAKING NEWS: Just one day after the mass-radio silence in Yugoslavia which happened after a bomb exploded during Marshall Selimović's tour of the Italian frontlines, connections have been restored again alongside a short appearance of Selimović herself, which has announced that "Yugoslavia has been ensured to be completely safe again" and that "Yugoslavian citizens do not have to worry about the recent advances of fascist troops, which have been safely contained". On the other side of the Atlantic, the Yugoslavian regime has been condemned by various organizations after it was noted that various Western contacts with the government have vanished out of thin air during the previous mass blackout. It's also been noted that the governance AI designed by the Yugoslavs has also completely vanished, with no additional information about it. So far, Selimović has made zero comments about any of this, and has locked herself inside Beograd. The world eagerly awaits to see what will come out of the new Yugoslav situation.



Secretly accept the Hyperboreans' ceasefire, and use all of our troops to retake Italy and Greece. Use the spills to secure the German border with Poland and if any remain push back into France.

Essentially same directions as the turn before, primarily put the roll into defense, split spills roughly in half between breaking the India bonus and reclaiming Pakistan. The Mongols have received the notice from the Hyperboreans and will respond next turn.

Yugoslavia. - Turn 16 (+21)

We'll push back the remaining bits of Memphis' troops on Italy and Greece, then use the remaining bonus to further advance into France. After that we'll use half of our troops to keep pushing on into France and the other half to secure the northeastern German coast and the border with Denmark.

2nd Mongol Empire (+14) - Turn 16 - Ally: Egypt, NAP: Hyperborea

The early phases of the second Mongol-Outer Heaven war did not begin favourably for the Mongols. Although their forces seemed poised to make a breakthrough early on, against all odds the invasion force completely fizzled out in what could only be described as perhaps God himself intervening with a horribly timed typhoon. The Mongol higherups had now become fearful that they had done something to anger the God of RISK, and this feeling was only reaffirmed when their ensuing roll was but a pittance compared to Outer Heavens.

With Pakistan now all but finished and the Outer Heaven forces poised to next attempt a break into Iran, all hope seemed lost for the Empire. But then something strange happened; OH's defensive line in Northern India, despite how heavily fortified it was, began to crumble. The Mongols took this as a sign that perhaps the Sky God had come to favour their righteous cause. May all praise fall to Tengri.

The Mad Baron had entered a state of deep depression following the early going ons of the war, but once news reached him at the higher ups much champagne was popped and a revigorated sense of energy filled the board room. The Mongols now sought to preserve their gains by any means possible, and liberate Pakistan.

(Lions share of the roll goes to defense, any spills go to retaking territory in Pakistan, if we lose the roll then make sure that we preserve one territory in India even if it comes at the cost of other locations)

The Mongolian people send their congratulations to the Hyperborean state for their impressive grit and determination, never faltering in the face of powerful adversararies. We also congratulate you for your vanquishing of the Soviet menace, a most noble imperative that is worthy of commemoration. Indeed the news of this exploit tickled the Baron's heart deeply.

We have received your request regarding the cession of the Russian lands. As was said before, we largely incorporated these lands in order to counterract the anarchic state they were in and as a preventative measure against foreign intruders. Now that these external threats have been quashed, it no longer makes sense for us to hold on to them. We further find your offers regarding armament agreeable and to be of a fair disposition.

There is one request that we carry however. While we do find the terms agreeable, we ask if it possible if Hyperborea could wait until our ongoing war is situated. To put it plainly, we will cede them once the war enters a definitive state. On the off chance that disaster strikes and we begin to rapidly lose the conflict, we pledge to cede them before falling.

As of now, most of our general staff is occupied in drawing up battle plans and tending to the conflict. Having to work out all of the contractual details regarding cession is time that we cannot afford to spare at the moment. If you are willing to showcase patience, perhaps an alliance could be on the table between our two nations.
