Introduce Yourself

What makes SciADV special to you and what's your favourite entry?

Well, this is a pretty complicated question for me, since some of the media I’m familiar with are already different from the rest in some ways, but I’ll try to answer anyway.

SciADV is special because it explains real scientific concepts in different parts of the story, that’s one thing. Secondly, because of the division into routes using the trigger system and how those routes interact with the stories themselves. What I liked most was the Dillusion Trigger, where you can choose certain illusions, and to get the worst ending, you have to find 'Sono me dare no me' quotes. I also like the characters who, at first glance, seem unnecessary but play a role in the main plot, and how the characters’ geeky personalities are portrayed in all their glory.

So far, my favorites have been Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Notes. These three have given me an interesting experience. It all started as a denpa project, and they continue to explore various genres and delve into scientific topics.

What's are your favourite pieces of non-SciADV otaku media? (can be other visual novels, anime, manga, jrpgs, etc.)

This is going to be a long list, but I’ll keep it brief.
Anime: Evangelion, Serial Experiment Lain, and Madoka Magica.
Animation: Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, The Amazing Digital Circus, and The Owl House.
Comics/Books: Monogatari, Haruhi Suzumiya, and Boogiepop.
Visual Novels: Adastra, Cross;Channel, Disco Elysium, Doki Doki Literature, Fate/Stay Night, Higanbana no Saku ni Yoru, Higurashi When They Cry, Tsukihime, Robotics;Notes, SubaHibi, Umineko When They Cry, Homestuck.
And Games: the Super Mario series and its RPG spin-offs, the Sonic Trilogy, Sonic Adventure (1+2), Baldur’s Gate 3, Brok the InvastiGator, Cave Story, Undertale, Deltarune, the Mother series, Final Fantasy (4–10), Hollow Knight (+ Silksong), Kid Icarus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Majora’s Mask, Live a Live, MOON RPG, No More Heroes, OFF, OMORI, Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Kingdom Hearts, Stray Children, Terraria, and so on and so forth....
Anyway, you get the idea, I’m quite an interesting person, lol.

How'd you find this forum?

Thanks to the Frutiger Aero Archive. That's actually where I stumbled upon your forum. (I hope you all know about this site, I really love it.)

What's your opinion on cyberspace as it is now?

If we're talking about social media, I have a negative view of that kind of cyberspace. It seems like people there are chasing popularity by the numbers rather than quality. But when it comes to chat rooms or forums in this cyberspace, I'm fine with them, as long as there's a comfortable atmosphere, without arguments or insults.

What are some of your foremost hobbies?

To be honest... Sometimes I have hobbies, but sometimes I don't. My hobbies are playing video games, watching TV shows and anime, reading books and comics, and writing my own fanfiction. But most of the time, I don't do anything. I just get lost in my phone, trying to find something interesting, and I'm often too lazy to do anything......... I try to get rid of my laziness somehow, but it doesn’t work.
