I'll talk about the individual characters arcs and what I like/disliked about them and some nice quotes, but before just a few random notes:
OST actually frags, kino.
The endings of the character arcs seem really abrupt lol like I was shocked that I was getting an ending for most of them, not what I'm used to.

aaaaanyway, starting with Nae:
Kinda cute arc, but as I said if I were Kaito I would have gone with her and just gamed during all day and plapped at night, surely she'd have been busy with work anyway lolololol. Not much else to say, not much happened, shit made me want to play some melee.

Junna:
idk I don't really like her lol she's boring and her arc was boring too.

yea fried chicken im shocked, the works being watermelon and grape fanta lolololol.

Frau:
This arc was really good. Kaito literally living the dream locking in a room with neet hiki girl for DAYS self destructing and marathoning video games, obviously there was a more serious tone to the arc but damn man.

This one was pretty sad, although it was already heavily implied that it was this kind of situation. I was really surprised that she was still alive tho and that Kaito called the feds on her but wcyd.


i mean...

idk if they'll mention her any more in the story but I hope they unthaw her and cure her disease, she's had it rough and she is beautiful and brave and cute (and funny). I really liked this arc, I really like Airi it's between her and Frau for my favorite girl, Frau just seems a little unrealistic lol which may sound like an unfair analysis when comparing her to a halfdead cadaver AI girl but whateva.

And with that, on to phase 9, hopefully will finish within the next 2 days at this pace, I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm glad i decided to try to run it down before the H/H thread ends. Was a really great excuse to get some efficient VN reading in and its turning out to be better than I expected. Much better than S;G0 l0l0l0l0l. I always wanted more exploration into the organization in the other sciadv entries ive read and it's certainly scratching that itch. Next post will be upon completion, hopefully I've at least fulfilled the credentials to be posting in the H/H thread now. gunvarrel jackin'

I will preface this with my sincerest apologies for turbospamming this thread, but wcyd. hopefully one day we can get a FOURTH R;N fan in here to take up the mantle. With that said I have successfully RAPED this vn on day 4 since beginning.

Actually such a pleasure just doing nothing but running this one down every day, here are my thoughts on the ending:

I have some issues with the ending lol. I'm not usually one to nitpick stuff like this in fantasy, but none of the other sciadv entires ive read suffered from this. I was disappointed that kimijima kou ended up to be the major bad guy and was basically soloing the whole thing. I really wanted a grander organization plot and more actual... organization than lol its this 1 turbogenius but not actually him but his ai lol lol. Just didnt really do it for me. I also found it impossible to suspend my disbelief in the final assault on the TNSC. Like really? the only option is assaulting it with their slow as robot, AND theyre just livetweeting it the whole time? And also the whole world is cheering them on but not 1 singular nation can be fucked to try to like, idk, get rid of the BLACK HOLE BOMB (also lol G-bomb mentioned @muv-luv fans). Anyway I understand that they needed they big giant robot fight finale, but I didn't like the premise.

That said I really enjoyed the vn overall. I dont really do number ratings because i tend to be able to enjoy things quite a bit even if theyre pretty bad, especially visual novels because I really just enjoy long-form and in depth media that u can spend a lot of hours on. That said ill say as a sciadv entry I definitely enjoyed it more than S;G0 and I guess I wouldnt put it on the same pedestal that S;G, C;H, and C;C reside on, but its definitely in the same tier and a welcome read/addition to the series. So maybe for me S;G = C;H = C,C > R;N > S;G0 really tough to rank them.

Last bit, if u fw sciadv I would definitely recommend reading this one as well, even if u do it after the steins; and chaos; titles like I did. But id also say read it before S;G0 cause its better lol.
